Live Video Webcam and Chat from Greenville, NC

The smoke has taken over Greenville yesterday and this morning so far. It moved in quickly yesterday afternoon as the winds shifted and started blowing the smoke right this direction. I have never seen something like this before!

Yesterday, visibilities in Greenville dropped to around a mile and half while this morning they have been around two miles. The smoke is even being reported all the way over to Raleigh and Chapel Hill.

A full week of wet weather and clouds have been the big story in Eastern North Carolina and especially Greenville. This past week we have seen rain or clouds everyday, and some are wondering if the sun is even still out there! Most of the area has seen one to two inches of the much needed rain within the past couple of days.
