Starting on June 26, 2008, the East Carolina Summer Theatre will present “The Boy Friend”. As the Jazz Age lives on, this is a marvelously funny, song-and-dance-filled spoof of the Roaring Twenties and British Aristocracy.
Performances start on June 26 and last through July 5. A little over a week of performances, you should be able to find a wonderful night and turn it into jazzy night at “The Boy Friend”.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s theater production of Jesus being a prophet and rock star is about to take stage in Farmville, NC at the Paramount Theatre.
Jesus Christ Superstar starts on April 10th through the 13th. Performances are in the evening starting at 8 p.m. except for April 13th at 3 p.m. in the afternoon. Tickets are only $16 for non-members and $12 for members.

The final offering for 2007-2008 Playhouse Season at the East Carolina Playhouse is Iphigenia in Aulis. It is based on the first terrible tragedy of the Trojan War.
