Winterville Watermelon Festival

Today is the first day of the 23rd Annual 2008 Winterville, NC Watermelon Festival!
The festival will have lots of watermlon and food, live music, rides, and concerts.
It is a three day festival that starts today August 21 and lasts through Saturday night August 23.
Tonight, the 2008 Watermelon Festival Pageant will be held at South Central High School. Admission is $7.
Most of the events and concerts are free, but the final concert on Saturday night with Jack Ingram and Bucky Covington at the A.G. Cox Athletic Complex will be $10 for tickets. The doors open at 6 p.m., and it begins at 7 p.m.
