Carolina Skies Astronomy Club will hold a free public stargaze this Saturday night. Look at all the stars along with Jupiter right after sunset as it replaces Saturn in the evening summer sky.
The Greenville Jaycees is sponsoring the Greenville Flat Out 5K and Fun Run this Saturday. The theme for the run is SAFE (Safe Streets for Everyone) while focusing on bike and pedestrian safety.

The Ulster Project is holding a benefit concert at the Tipsy Teapot in Uptown Greenville. The concert is called “Project Peace”. Bill Redding and Mike Hamer, Celtic Collection and Someone’s Sister are performing for “Project Peace”.
Starting on June 26, 2008, the East Carolina Summer Theatre will present “The Boy Friend”. As the Jazz Age lives on, this is a marvelously funny, song-and-dance-filled spoof of the Roaring Twenties and British Aristocracy.
Performances start on June 26 and last through July 5. A little over a week of performances, you should be able to find a wonderful night and turn it into jazzy night at “The Boy Friend”.
The Greenville Recreation and Park will be holding a Sunday in the Park Concert! They will be hosting The Summer Pops Symphony Orchestra. It will be a full symphony under the direction of Maestro Jorge Richer.

The Lefty Williams Band will be performing at Dr. Unk’s Oasis to promote their new CD “Snake Oil”. This CD will be released on July 8, 2008.
Williams was born in Atlanta and without a right hand. He began playing the guitar at the age of 4. He tours with a bassist, keyboardist and drummer which their CD was engineered by John Keane.
Big Hop, Supastition, Ced Hughes and the Spitzwell Brotherz are performing tonight at The Element for the Hip-Hop Show. Supastition lives in Charlotte, NC and was once a Greenville Native. He has now signed contracts with Rawkus Records and Soulspazm Records.
