The East Carolina University School of Jazz will be holding its annual Billy Taylor Jazz Festival starting April 24 through April 26.
Pianist, composer, and arranger Geri Allen and pianist Billy Taylor will be in a variety of concerts and events! Along with mingling and socializing with all your jazz friends, this jazz festival will have three free public concerts, a free jam session, and critiquing sessions for middle and high school jazz bands.

Thursday, April 24 at 8 p.m.
- Concert: ECU Jazz ‘Bones in Concert FREE

Thursday, April 24 at 10 p.m.
- Event: International Association of Jazz Educators Jam Session
with ECU Jazz Combos FREE

Friday, April 25
- 10:00 AM: FREE Jazz Improv Clinic with Geri Allen and ECU’s Contemporary Jazz Ensemble (Ernest Turner, director)
