Barack Obama will be visiting Greenville, NC and East Carolina University this Thursday, April 17, 2008 after his stop in Raleigh, NC.
Some more information has been released about his visit to the Greenville area.
Obama will be speaking at Minges Coliseum on the East Carolina University Campus. The doors will open at 4 p.m. His speech time has not been released yet though.
As far as tickets for the event, you will not need to get them. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis. If are on planning on attending, it is strongly recommended that you sign up here.
The Obama campaign is asking people NOT to bring bags for security reasons. Signs and banners are NOT allowed either.
As soon as I hear anymore information, I will pass it along! BlogGreenville would love to hear some of your events of the day if you are going to be attending the speech. Contact us and let us know!
What time do you plan on waiting outside at Minges Coliseum to get into the event?
Update 4/16/08: No updates as I see have been posted on the exact time of the speech in Greenville tomorrow. Doors still open at 4 p.m. and seating is first come, first serve basis. Has anyone heard anything else and are you planning on attending?
